Orange, serenity, terrorism

Visualisation 4 out of 6 using words orange, serenity, terrorism. By far my favourite image, only because it was a last minute decision to do it as a painting rather than a very (very) basic stencil. So to me this image is an example of what can be achieved by pushing yourself a little further and throwing youself in the deep end, something I am not found doing very often. The orange is represented by the flame and the rust, the serenity is in the sleeping state of the robot and the calming dawn sky in the background. The terrorism is... apart from the radioactive symbol its not really there. But I don't really want it to be. Otherwise it becomes more of a social commentary piece rather than a surreal dreamy type of piece. There's nothing wrong with being either but it needs to be more surreal to justify the category I put it in. I can't believe the defined criteria for surreal paintings is essentially 'Salvador Dali'. Talk about pigeonholing. On the off chance that someone reads this go and listen to Silence by Gomez - nothing to do with the painting but its a great song.
